DESCRIPTION:The community is invited to attend the 12th Annual Treasure Chest Fundraiser for the Kearney Area Children's Museum held on Saturday\, February 9\, 2019 from 5:45 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Younes Conference Center\, 416 W Talmadge Rd\, Kearney.   \n\n"What a special time to help raise funds for a great cause while also enjoying an evening with friends\," said Kearney Area Children's Museum Executive Director Traci Winscot. "All proceeds from the event will benefit the Kearney Area Children's Museum and its annual operations\, including educational programming\, exhibit maintenance\, and community outreach efforts."\n\n"Kearney Area Children's Museum continues to be a valuable asset to our community by offering fun and educational exhibits for children with varying interests and ages\," said Emily Jameson\, co-chairperson of the event. "The 12th annual Treasure Chest Fundraiser will provide the museum with funding to help meet the needs of our children in the community in the coming year and beyond."\n\nThis year's event will be Casino Night-themed\, with a variety of games and opportunities for individuals to help support the museum. A silent auction\, delicious supper\, and cash bar are also included in the evening's events. \n\n "We will have an assortment of amazing silent auction items\, ranging from night-out packages\, to a painting party\, to restaurant passes." Winscot said.
