DESCRIPTION:Get out your tools and supplies! Downtown Kearney and 20 of its merchants are hosting a pumpkin carving and decorating contest on Saturday\, October 24th. To participate: 1) Sign up for a storefront location to display your pumpkin here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70A0C4DABAA2DAAF94-pumpkin. 2) Carve and/or decorate your pumpkin at home. 3) Bring your finished pumpkin to your pre-registered storefront location on Saturday\, October 24th by 10 AM. 4) Pick up your pumpkin by 4 PM that day. The pumpkins will be on display from 10 AM - 2 PM. Judging for 1st\, 2nd and 3rd place will be from 12-2 PM. A picture of each pumpkin will be taken for a slideshow to be posted on Halloween. The winners will be announced on Monday\, the 26th and will receive Downtown Kearney gift certificates. Happy carving and decorating!
