SUMMARY:Rise Above the Water
DESCRIPTION:As a community of music lovers\, we want to help those less fortunate "Replace and Rebuild" their homes and lives\, after this monumental event that impacted our family\, friends\, and neighbors!! "Rise Above the Water" is being organized to raise money for those in need of materials and assistance. Our hearts go out to those who have no insurance\, funds\, or have been affected by devastating flood waters for a second time.\n\n \n\nOur mission is to help relieve some of the financial burden to keep our communities strong. We also feel everyone needs a day to relax and come together\, to start the process of healing and rebuilding. We are asking for donations from local businesses\, in any amount. These donations will be used to help cover cost\, as well as go towards the fund for all those who need help. If you have any ideas please feel free to reach out to us\, we welcome all help. There is always a need for volunteers and ideas.\n\n \n\nWe are partnering with the United Way of the Kearney Area to distribute the money. JD's is the lead on this event and Viaero Center is donating their facilities. The bands are donating their time and food vendors are giving a portion of their sales to the fund. Sure Sound\, a professional sound company will be donating the stage\, lights\, and sound. A committee made up of radio personnel\, band members\, and other professionals are helping to put on this great event!
