Canned food allows the shelter staff to help rescue animals gain weight\, take needed medicine and it also helps build trust between staff and animals.\n\n\n\nWhat kind of food?\n\nThe Shelter is asking for Cat and Kitty canned food at this time as they have an ample supply of canned Dog and Puppy food.\n\n\n\nWhat if I can't make it to Hy-Vee or Family Fresh Market that Day?\n\nPlease feel free to drop off any canned food to the Animal Shelter Prior to or after May 30th\, as all canned food donations will be accepted.
