You have the chance to “run through time” by dressing in your favorite decade’s attire, running a beautiful trail and supporting an amazing cause!

All proceeds will go toward new and innovative activities for the residents who call Good Samaritan Society home.

• Races: 5K (3.1 miles) and a one mile fun run

 Race Description

 Dig through your closets for old scrunchies, bell bottoms or any other clothing trend and you could win a trophy and a gift card for the best outfit. Prizes will also be given to the second and third best costumes and all three runners-up.

You will be able to listen to music from previous decades, and you'll get a cool T-shirt and other goodies.

The first male runner and first female runner across the finish line will get a certificate for a free pair of running shoes from Brown’s Shoe Fit Company in Kearney. The first three places for both men and women will receive medals, and second and third places will win other prizes as well.

A small contest also will take place during the one mile fun run for another chance to win a great prize.

Course Description

 The 5K will take place on a route around Prairie View Gardens consisting of neighborhood streets and a beautiful trail over hills. The course offers the perfect combination of challenge, scenery, and ease.
