U.S. Air Force band concert

The U.S. Air Force Heartland of America Band will present “A Salute to American Airmen: Breaking Barriers since 1947,” a free concert at 7 p.m. Aug. 2 at the Cope Amphitheater at YanneyHeritage Park at 2020 W. 11th St. Presented by the Kearney Hub, the concert will feature the 14-member ensemble performing music to inspire patriotism and tell the Air Force story. The band’s repertoire ranges from classic to contemporary, jazz to country and pop to rock. No tickets are needed to attend the free concert.
