United Against Hunger

United Against Hunger is United Way of the Kearney Area's annual meal packing event which will provide meals for people in the Kearney area. The event will take place on November 5th at CityLight Kearney.

This event will ensure that families receive nutritious meals including macaroni and cheese, pasta and oatmeal. Each meal contains all of the nutrition and protein necessary, and the only additional ingredient required is water to make a healthy, wholesome meal. Meals will be distributed to local food pantries including: Jubilee Center, Gibbon Free Pantry, United Way Little Free Pantries, Community Action Mobile Produce Pantries, Gibbon Little Free Pantries, and more. 

How can you help fight hunger?

Bring a team of people or sign up on your own! Families are welcome, too. 

Together, we will be making bags of macaroni and cheese, pasta and oatmeal which will be assembled into Pantry Packs and distributed to food pantries around Kearney.
