Graduation Coordinator

The Graduation Coordinator manages all undergraduate graduation processing within the Registrar's Office and serves as the institutional authority on degree completion. This position is responsible for reviewing and processing graduation applications each academic term; verifying completion of all institutional and departmental degree requirements; and determining eligibility for degree conferral. The role coordinates all Registrar-managed graduation activities, including batch degree posting, transcript text entry, honors designation, diploma production, commencement program review, and preparation of graduation materials. The Graduation Coordinator serves as the primary campus contact for graduation data, including graduate lists and degree counts, and advises students, faculty, department chairs, and academic advisors regarding degree requirements and graduation status.
 
This position requires strong technical expertise and a thorough understanding of academic policies and degree requirements. The Graduation Coordinator utilizes student information systems, batch processing tools, and Stellic Graduation Clearance to evaluate degree audits, process academic progress information, and ensure system alignment and data integrity. Responsibilities include tracking graduation candidates throughout the review lifecycle, resolving discrepancies in academic records, maintaining graduation records and supply inventory, and assisting with commencement ceremonies as needed. The role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational, and communication skills, and the technical ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven processes.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and 2 years successful work experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong computer skills. Ability to understand, follow and explain university policy and procedures. Exceptional team focus and ability to multitask. Excellent problem solving and customer relations skills. A sincere desire to serve students.
