The City of Kearney Landfill is looking for a hard-working individual to join their team! Typical duties include collecting litter along the roadways and ditches leading to the Landfill. Assist in the cleanliness and maintenance of the landfill grounds by picking up litter, mowing, and snow removal. Also, assist landfill operator with minor repair jobs and the refueling of equipment. When needed, operate the landfill scale and direct traffic at the entry gate to disposal areas. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school level education or G.E.D. Must possess valid Nebraska driver’s license.
Benefits holiday, vacation, medical leave and a $250 sign-on bonus. Hourly pay rate is $16.12 per hour.
