Park Attendant - Part Time

Are you an outdoor person with experience in grounds maintenance?  If so, join our team working to care for one of Kearney’s amazing parks.  Perform manual labor in the maintenance and care of park grounds, trails/medians/corridors, amenities, and facilities including the opening and closing of parks.   You would also help maintain equipment used in the maintenance of turf and park grounds.  Irrigate, water, mow, edge, aerate, and maintain landscaped areas and turf.  High school diploma/GED. Previous park maintenance experience preferred.  Must possess a valid Nebraska driver’s license.  Ability to obtain Nebraska Pesticide Applicators License.
 
Benefits holiday, vacation, and medical leave.  Hourly pay rate is $19.81 per hour. Deadline: Open until filled.
