Risk Manager

The City of Kearney is seeking a detail-oriented professional to join the Human Resources Team. This position is responsible for day-to-day risk management functions, including administration of Workers’ Compensation, liability, and property/casualty insurance coverage and claims.

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of two (2) years of progressively responsible administrative experience with strong computer proficiency, and written and verbal communication skills. Insurance and/or Workers’ Compensation experience is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to pass the State of Nebraska Property and Casualty Insurance exam within two (2) years of employment and maintain a valid Nebraska driver’s license.

Hourly range of $25.29–$36.74, (dependent upon relevant experience) with a comprehensive benefits package.
