Strengths Connection Founder Earns Certified Christian Leadership Coach Plus (CCLC+) Credential

KEARNEY, Neb. – Brenda Jochum, founder of Strengths Connection, has earned the Certified Christian Leadership Coach Plus (CCLC+) credential through Coach Approach Ministries.

The certification expands Jochum’s professional coaching training and strengthens her ability to support individuals, leaders, and teams through meaningful conversations that encourage awareness, growth, and purposeful action.

Training through Coach Approach Ministries included coaching conversations, leadership development, group and team coaching, communication, and navigating change and transition. Coursework also emphasized team effectiveness through greater understanding, collaboration, and intentional communication.

“Growth rarely happens by accident. Coaching creates space for people to slow down, gain greater clarity about who they are and what matters most, and identify meaningful next steps,” Jochum said. “This certification strengthens the work I already do through Strengths Connection and gives me additional tools to support individuals and teams as they grow.”

Jochum is also a Gallup-Certified CliftonStrengths® Coach and brings more than 30 years of experience in higher education, student development, career development, and leadership programming.

Through Strengths Connection, she provides CliftonStrengths-based coaching, workshops, and team development experiences for youth, next-generation leaders, professionals, and organizations throughout Nebraska.
