Facilities Maintenance Technician - Public Works

The City of Kearney Public Works department, is seeking a motivated individual who can perform journey-level maintenance of and construction on the City’s buildings.  Any combination of education and experience equivalent to completion of the eighth grade and two years of experience in construction or maintenance work.  Possession of valid Nebraska driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL with Air Brakes Certification within 6 months of hire.  Intermediate computer skills required.  A 30-minute residency response time is required.  The City offers full benefits which includes 12 paid holidays, health/dental insurance, 6% 401A Retirement Match, and more.
 
Hourly pay range: $24.56 - $35.67 DOQ.
